The bulk of the collection consists of correspondence and concerns constituents' requests (early 1890s), business matters, and World Fairs at Chicago (1893) and St. Louis (1904). Includes letters from the daughters of the family in Brooklyn, Atlanta, Randolph-Macon College, and other places.
